For a full dissertation on WTL'S COVID-19 Awareness Protocols, please see our web site tab: "COVID-19"
As Far As WTL Is Aware To Date, from staying tuned in daily
to our Upstate, NY Local Authorities, NYS & Federal Govt's Mandates within our State, & various Local & National News Media, Animal adoptions are fully allowed within our area, as long as the Human parties obviously practice common sense masks, gloves, etc., safe social distancing, and best in an open environment
while performing a brief Pug Adoption transaction...
Hence, All Non-Emergency Pug Related Visitations to the Walk The Line Ranch are temporarily suspended... In lieu of, all Pug Adoptions are temporarily being held on the road at a mutually convenient public meet location... WTL's travel distance to and from these locations is temporarily restricted to nearby areas, absolutely no further than 2 hours away from our Ranch... The adoptive parents traveling from further distances will have to travel the remaining difference... All monies transactions
for the time being must be securely made & guaranteed via Pay Pal in order to eliminate Human contact & the handling of money... All adoption dissertations must also now temporarily be made via telephone in advance of the adoption, these typically take 1-2 hours...
This policy may be altered, halted, etc, at any time in
the future based on Governing Law handed down by either our Federal, NY State, or Local Government Authorities Notice... WTL is certainly not anxious to promote the COVID-19 spread to either the public nor to our private family... However as long as it is allowed and
we take appropriate safety precautions, WTL plans to move forward with Pug Adoptions as explained above especially in order to move along the Rescue Pugs...
Furthermore,
according the "The Health Care Experts" such as the "CDC" and other Health Care Officials, thus far at least, there are no verifiable reason to bear concern or suspect that pets can carry or transmit the COVID-19 Virus to or from Humans… There has been one
suspected case thus far and experts are suspect that the test performed on the dog was not valid... Please see the link to the "CDC" along with a few other experts opinions that we have been forwarded, web links directly below... You may find other less informed
slightly varying opinions on the internet, all we can say is consider the source's expertise and credibility...
