————————–
These Pugs have all been originally bred, whelped & weaned by WTL on our private family Farmstead over the years on a very responsible small quantity annual basis… Some never left us for various reason as is explained in their portfolio, or they were adopted by us and then rescued back sometime later in life for various reason again as is explained in their portfolio…
——————————–
ADULT PUG ADOPTION CONDITIONS
1) There Will Be An Application Process, A Subsequent WTL Diligence Process, & A Final Brief & Mutually
Fair Re-Homing Contract Provided Those Approved Applicants…
2) All Pugs Will Be Generally Readied & Prepared For Adoption As Described By Individual Portfolio & In
Otherwise “As Is Condition” With No Urgent Health Care Conditions Known Of Or Apparent… Any
Urgent Health Conditions Will have Been Addressed By WTL And/Or By Our Hired DVM’s As
Required… Any Non Urgent Apparent Or Recognized Health Conditions Will Be In The Process Of
Being Addressed As described In Each Individual Portfolio… All Suspected Or Evident Health
Conditions Will Be Certainly Disclosed…
3) All Pugs Will Come With A (14 day) Health Guarantee Of Having No Pre-Existing Illness Or The
Presence Of Symptoms Of A Contagious Or Infectious Disease… There Will Be No Congenital
Malformation Guarantee Whatsoever Due To The Fact That These Pugs Are Older And many Of Them
Have Been For A Time Under The Vetting Of Others Unknown Practices… Subsequently Potential
Immune System destruction May Have Been Caused By The Improper Usage Of Drug, Inoculation, &
Parasitic Prevention Protocols… However WTL Will Certainly Disclose If Any Congenital Malformations
Are Evident Or Are Suspected…
4) Each potential New Adoptive Parent is responsible, (not WTL) to orchestrate arranging the
Pre-Adoption Vetting Conference Call between WTL & the New Adoptive Parent’s Vet to be, in order to
discuss Pug’s Clinical History & Future Health Care Protocols, by means of a mutually convenient
pre-scheduled appt only!!! WTL will be happy to make or receive this conference call at the
pre-scheduled time (provided the Vet’s name & number) most any day with at least (24 ) hours advance
notice, anytime after noon but preferably as late in the day or evening as is possible… If the New
adoptive Parent wants to orchestrate a (3) way conference and be in on the vetting call, that is
welcomed and even preferred… This call is a must in order that WTL can properly complete our
responsible diligence in placing these Pugs into their new proper homes… If either the New
Adoptive Parent &/or their Vet to be is not agreeable to setting up this call then go find a Pug
somewhere else or get a new Vet who’s properly concerned about the Pug…
5) Many Of These Pugs Were Adopted By WTL Previous To Us Mandating A Spay/Neuter Agreement, & A
Couple Are Just Retiring Breeders… Subsequently Many Of Them Are Still In Tact… Some Will Require
A Spay/Neuter Agreement For Certain Reason & Others Will Not Be Required By WTL For Certain
Reason & Concern Over Anesthesia, Case Specific As Described In Their Portfolio…
6) An Administrative Fee & Certain Re-Homing Fees Will Be Posted For Each Pug According To
Age,Health Condition, What Costs That WTL Has Put Into Their Recovery (If Any), Etc…
7) The WTL Proprietary “PPID Protocol” Health Care Guide Shall Be An Optional Fee, However
Vehemently Advised & Recommended…
8) The WTL Pug Health Care & Emergency Evacuation Kit Shall Be An Optional Fee, However Strongly
Recommended…
9) Both The Health Care Guide & Pug Health Care Kit Are Described In Detail Under The Web Site Tab:

WTL breeds for a very limited small quantity of Pug pups annually, typically a maximum of 2-3 litters via our rotating when properly readied 3 to 4 working Dams…
1) We currently have a few pups whites, blacks, and fawns that potentially remain available to qualifying homes all of which we are still accepting applications for…
2) We also currently have a few available Adolescents and/or Adults, as we often do periodically on and off throughout the year, for various reason as is explained on our web site tab: “What We do”
3) We are expecting our next litter whelping in late June, 2020…
4) We do not have definitive next Breeding plans established, but expect that it will not be again until sometime in the late Summer or early Fall of 2020 when our next dam is properly readied & in estrus…
We do not track a “Waiting List” and unfortunately with our extremely busy Farm life, have the limited very time only to spend with serious inquirers & only after we have been provided our Pug Adoption Information Form: “Adopt Apply”
—————————————-
We do also have a couple of public rescue Pugs (Not Whelped By WTL) at another of our private family residence, (we cannot bring them to our WTL Homestead due to temporary quarantine) these we are just kind of a middle man for, we rescue them, stabilize their emergency & short term needs if any, then we either send them to a Humane Society that we work with for further long term rescue needs, or if they can be properly readied by us without great expense, we re-adopt them directly… WTL is not a tax exempt rescue and we receive no donations, grants, etc., all of our Public Pug rescue efforts are privately funded by us… Further more, WTL also does not charge for this service or these Pugs, this we do as one of our Pug donation efforts to benefit the Pug World… We provide them to only properly qualified new homes at “No Charge”, however only after having gone through our responsible re-homing screening process… Please bear in mind that typically these Pugs are Quite older 8-10 or up and they all have certain health care needs be it physical and/or emotional…
—————————————-
If seriously interested in a Pug whatever age & in order that we can educatively assist you, the place to begin would be on our web site browser tab: “Adopt Apply” Please fill out and submit the Pug adoption information form therein which provides us the necessary information which we require in order to be educatively informed to assist you… The form in itself also shares a lot of information (including our various standard adoption fees), about WTL’S Pug Adoption Program with you…
For further information on our Puppy Adoption Process please see the web site tabs:
“Adopt Pkge” & “Pup Adopt”, in addition to the many other browser tabs on our comprehensive Pug Web Site… For information on older Pugs & Adolescents, please see the web site tabs: “Adult Pugs” , “Pug Rescue WTL” & “Pug Rescue Public”
Also just so that you are aware prior to filling out the form (us not knowing where you reside), WTL has always practiced a “No ship policy for the safety & welfare of our Pugs), all adoptions must be held in person in upstate NY and the New Adoptive Owner/s must be in attendance, not a friend, relative, or carrier service… Specifically under the current Coronavirus conditions, WTL will accommodate any adoptive parent’s Pug adoptions by traveling in our direction nearby by us within a 2-3 hour radius… It is also important to note that from a travel safety aspect, the WTL Pug Ranch is also luckily located in St Lawrence County, far North of New York City, our State’s current extremely distressing City Coronavirus hot zone… Thank you for your inquiry,
Walk The Line

For a full dissertation on WTL’S COVID-19 Awareness Protocols, please see our web site tab: “COVID-19”
As Far As Wtl Is Aware To Date, from staying tuned in daily to the Local, NYS & Federal Govt’s Mandates within our State, & various National News Media, Animal adoptions are fully allowed within our area, as long as the Human parties obviously practice common sense and safe social distancing in an open environment while performing the transaction… Also travel to and from these locations is not prohibited, again as far as we have heard from any source…
Furthermore, according the “The Health Care Experts” such as the “CDC” and other Health Care Officials, thus far at least, there are no verifiable reason to bear concern or suspect that pets can carry or transmit the COVID-19 Virus to or from Humans… There has been one suspected case thus far and experts are suspect that the test performed on the dog was not valid… Please see the link to the “CDC” along with a few other experts opinions that we have been forwarded, web links directly below… You may find other less informed slightly varying opinions on the internet, all we can say is consider the source’s expertise and credibility…
